Don't miss the little sausages on the sword!! Picanha is the best beef you'll find in most of them.
I have spent over a year working in Brasil. CHURRASCARIAS are usually good.

Well, the deed's been done. I'm uncomfortable but not totally miserable.

It was a pleasant experience. We wound up going to Texas de Brazil. They didn't try to play any games whatsoever, if you wanted it, you got it, & were ask if you wanted more. They soon seemed to realize we weren't interested in pork or chicken & weren't bothered with it again. I felt lucky or they simply knew what they were doing, because all the beef was rare to medium rare & we were told that it would be that way just after being seated. We were also told that if we wanted more of something & it hadn't come around for a while just ask & it would be brought to us. We never had to.

They simply poured it to us. I had 2 filets, one with bacon, one without, several lamb chops, leg of lamb, flank steak, beef ribs, Alcatra-roast, & 2 types of Picanha-the sirloin cap that's bent & skewered in a C shape. This & the lamb chops stole the show, my bud agreed.

If anyone would care, the salad bar was a treat. So was the hot bar.

One of the pricier meals I usually have but the quality & service made the cost painless. Would go again.

When they are good they are very, very good.

Nice, Gunzo!

That reflects my experience with TdB. Always seem to be a couple managers on the floor touching tables and making sure everything is to our liking.

How’d ya like the sirloin cap? I pass up the filet for it, love the stuff.

You can only get medium rare or rare?
There goes any chance of us going to one.
My wife is walking one th e wild side if she orders medium.
And only then if she thinks they will over cook her order.

Nah. They’ll do anything you like. If you want it above med, just ask.

At least that’s been my experience.

I’ve been to one, everything tasted the same.

MM, yes, the sirloin cap was very good. Yeah, as most would agree, when compared to other cuts the filet is usually the most tender, but can have less flavor. The cap & the lamb chops were the highlight IMO. Their rub or marinate was to my liking also, a bit heavy on the lamb chops but it was very palatable so, no problem.

Yes Dillonbuck, they did state that the meats were usually cooked rare to med. rare & that was when I smiled & quit listening. But the entire staff was so accommodating that I would venture to say you could get it any way you liked it. A call could verify.
