You have to register chain saws here in ID so my friend took his in to get the serial number verified and register it but they told him that his Husky didn't really qualify as a chain saw.

It's the top cover lock... laugh

The chain bar kickback safety lever is the only chain lock. No key required.

I was wondering when someone would figure it out! grin

Okay, the padlock icons were enough to fool me. My 20 year old Stihl looks much like that, except, that knob is knurled on the top end and threaded on the bottom.
