I've been trying not to succumb to "good deals" unless it's something I needed anyways. Apparently I needed a 20 gauge 1187... I would have snagged one of those. None within a few hour drive of 70001. same here. none close by

I got a Rem 700 adl in 223 and 270 today for $184 each. The girl at the counter said she had just sold 3 243's and a 308 30 minutes before I got there. Said she could only sell 4 rifles to 1 person thats why the other 2 were still there. I also got a pair of the nikon prostaff 3 binos for $64. Trying to decide if I need a savage a17. Anybody have one, how do they shoot"

I'm not sure the girl said she went to enter 5 into the computer and said it wouldn't let her do the sale. She seemed pretty honest. It was the best customer service I have ever received at a walmart sporting goods counter. She said if she has the guns shes going to sell em.

My store went to a 1 gun per person limit during the clearance last year because their background check machine was down and they thought it was the fair way to let everyone get a deal. If the machine would not have been broken, I would have purchased more rifles, included a $399 mini 14. Just the way it goes. My buddy bought 1 and went to another sportings good store and had them price match it and bought several more.

Wow, I have 270 dies, and brand new Win 270 brass, and a couple hundred 130 gr bt bullets. But have never owned a 270. Damn, Damn.
Crap, I just brought home a new 58 inch UHD Samsung TV and soundbar last night. I don't know if I dare walk through the door of a Walmart right now.

I chased those 11-87s hard but never caught up to any. They're gone everywhere within a 2 hour drive. Hate that. Really wanted one of each.

I am trembling. Both 12 and 20 ga 1187s in sight. New this year and then to be discontinued at Walmart (per CS dude's handheld). One time chance.
A couple Prosaff 3 10x42 binos too.
I saw a couple of 700s., best I can tell they are not discounted around here.

Brickseek is showing a few ADLs clearance priced at $184 marked down 51% from regular price of $379, all within around an hour or less drive from me.
One in .270 and three youth models in .243. All are scope/gun package deals.
This is at three different Walmart stores.

Snagged some ammo on clearance yesterday. Didn't really need it, but at that price I just couldn't walk away.

I'm still showing the adl's at $379 on Brickseek... why does it not reflect the sale price?

And even at the stores that are, it varies from store to store as to what calibers and version of ADLs are getting clearanced too. Oddly, from what I've seen on Brickseek, only the ADL scope/rifle package deals are being clearance priced. So far plain ADLs without scopes, and in certain barrel lengths aren't being clearance discount priced. Who knows how big business bean counters brain's work?

Is there any quantity at which your background check gets flagged or slowed down because of the quantity of firearms you've bought in a specified period of time?

As far as I know, and this ain't written in stone by any degree, the only Model 700 ADL's that I know that Walmart has, are the package rifles, with the 3X9 scope. They all have synthetic stock and 24 inch barrel. That's in the Walmarts where I've been in looking at guns, and that is probably about 12 different ones in all. I have occasionally seen a wood stocked BDL, but it's been a long time since I saw one of them. Having said that, I'm sure not every Walmart is alike as far as what they carry, because it probably varies from one part of the country to another, as far as what sells in that area., and what doesn't.

I picked up 3 Coleman Northstar lanterns for $11 each, and 6 boxes of .243 ammo down in Fairview.
Was headed to Vanderbilt anyway, slight detour

No. However if you purchase more than one handgun from the same retailer in a 7-day period, they’re supposed to fill out a “multiple handgun form” and mail that in to the FBI.
