Did you go into Portland for the weekend?
I'd rather die in a BAD gunfight than a GOOD nursing home.

Sounds like a guy who doesn’t know what he has. To me an a-hole is the guy who’d try to pass that 99 off as pristine while asking a king’s ransom. I think we all have seen enough of those schit birds!

Not even worth getting excited about. It is what it is. A refinished F. $400 would be great $800.00 would have to be someone else's money

Given the serial, a 1912, 1899-H with original brl that was a 22HP or .25-35 that is now a 30WCF (wrong stamping).
Not sure on that butt plate/stock being original to the rifle.
Reblued, refinished.
20" not 22".
Lever screw in backwards. Hard to tell what else is wrong.
Nice butt stock if not cracked.

I'd rather spend a weekend in Somalia than $800 on that thing...

Yep. Dozens of rifles like this every year. Straw that broke the camels back for you?

Made me think of Upstate NY and 40 below zero and 400 inches of snow and chopping through 3 feet of ice to ice fish. The chit I used to put up with. Bout 95 here in Virginia today. Not complaining. Place is filthy with deer and bear and lakes that never freeze full of fish.

What cracks me up is the guys who manage to get their bare feet and edges of their underwear in their pics, or take their pics of guns lying on un-made beds.

Many years back our dear departed lawyer friend, Mark Benenson, was taking pictures for gunbroker and got his johnson in one of the shots. He got suspended and had to do some serious 'splaining to get back on.
So, that may be the record for oddball exposures, eh?
