Well, I guess if you gotta have a post-mil that would be the one to have. Nice score!

Good one to find if you like the C models. I hear ya; if it wasn't a 22-250 it wouldn't be headed my way.

That's a purdy C alright!
I hope it shoots well. I've had 3 or 4 of the .22-250s and they shot OK but never had a tack driver. Ended up with a Savage 12BV with the 26" bull barrel and it is 1 hole gun.

The NIB 22-250 I had also had some nice figure to the stock. Wonder if they spruced a few up on purpose?
Nice gun!

A lot of the 99C's had very nice figure in the wood, starting back in the late 1960's.

I think a lot of the post 60 rifles had some pretty nice wood on them. My 68 DL had some nice figure in it.

Ended up with a Savage 12BV with the 26" bull barrel and it is 1 hole gun. Recently acquired a Model 12FV from bil's estate. Nice setup. Haven't fired it. Yet...

That looks to be the nicest one I've ever seen without holding it.
Hope it shoots well for you! My bolt gun really likes Varget as a powder.
