I've had a few, and just traded off my last one.

But I'm sure I'll have another though, because it's just too good a round to ignore.

3. A Ruger Hawkeye Predator , a Kimber Longmaster rebarrel and a Tikka T3. My favorite is the Kimber.

.....................Nope!! Even though
a great round for a few reasons, I would opt for a 26 Nosler, the 6.5/284, the 264 Win, and yep, even a 6.5/300 Bee to avoid commonality...........I can afford barrel replacements....LOL...

UH OOOOOH,,,, You gonna burn yo barrel out soon....Not at 40-80 rounds per year............

Have 6.5-284 and 26 Nosler. Most barrel wear was working up loads. Agree that hunting use isn’t gonna burn barrels.

...........................Good!............And yep! I am starting to have nightmares about the 6.5 Creed. That is just about all we hear about on a daily basis within the shooting world....... .....Geeez........Creed creed creed creed creed..............Damn round walks on water too.........All-right all-ready.......LOL>>>LOL......

I have one - got an itch to buy a Fieldcraft and the 6.5 CM made the most sense at the time. I like it about the same as my Tikka 6.5 Swede...

I bought one, a M700 SPS back when I first heard Remington was going broke. I thought the rifles already on the shelves could be better than their products made after layoffs and cost cutting. But, havn't bothered to scope and shoot it yet.

Scheels in Reno? What model did you almost buy? I was too busy looking at the coopers when i was in there.

Salt Lake City Scheels. I was looking over the Howas and Remingtons. The wife was along so I was kind of rushed.

Finally bought one, a LH Tikka T3x Lite and mounted an SWFA SS 12x42. After some load workup I finally got it out to our range to plink some steel. It's a silhouette range but only goes out to 525 yards due to location constraints.

Had previously sighted it dead on at 200 meters and was testing my actual come-ups vs. those calculated by a Hornady ballistics calculator. Hit the 200 yard steel, then clicked up to 300 meters and whacked a small prairie dog silhouette with the first shot. Dialed in 525 yards, wind was from about 10 o'clock at 8-9 mph so I held half a mil off and hit a 10" by 10" plate pretty near dead center with the first shot.

I kind'a took a liking to the rifle and caliber right away... wink

I don't have one. Can't say that I'll never have one. It kind of struck me as the Birkenstocks of the rifle world. I don't have them either but won't say I'll never have them. Both seem pretty comfortable but not sure I want to be seen out in public with them. grin

I don't have one, don't really need one. I have a couple 25-06's and a 243. The 6mm C interests me more than the 6.5.

The only thing worse than a thread full of proud 6.5 Creed owners is the guy that thinks he out smarted everyone with a 6.5 Swede!!!

😛😛😛

Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!

I do. I also have and do own a 243, 260 7-08 and several others that the Creedmoor gets compared to at exhausting length. It doesn’t make critters any more or less dead than anything else. It’s not any “easier “ or “difficult “ to load for as far as a hunting rifle. Where it does have a distinct advantage is in case design and it’s SAAMI spec. With attention being paid to the throat tolerance and head height it does everything a hunting cartridge of it’s size does plus adds the long range accuracy capabilities as bonus. Nothing that hasn’t been beaten to death already. So, yes I own one and, yes I like for all the same reasons I’ve liked every other caliber I’ve owned.

One Creed and two, .260s. I am a 6.5 fan. My .308, 30-06, 7 mags and now, a .270, don't get much field time.
