Trying something different, used guard rails instead of brace and wire. Start stringing wire tomorrow.

I've gotten in a hurry a few times and used treated 2X6's instead of a brace and wire, and they usually work okay. The guard rails should be better.

Looks good!

I sure hate fencing... frown

I have a mile of fence that I have to clear thick brush off of, and renew this coming winter, and then I'll pretty much be done, besides the usual maintenance.

I will not be remiss with spraying the fencelines after that. wink Saves a LOT of time, trouble and expense.

I had a great uncle who had some fences that had more hay baling twine holding them up than wire. His cows never seemed to get out either.

Rooster, my ancestors who came in the 1840s and 1850s must have thought so as well. It is a unique area designated by the geologists as the Driftless Region because it was never covered by glaciers.
