Don't have a PRC, but I have a creedmoor on a long action. I can seat my bullets way out there. I am getting 2930 FPS with the 143 grain ELD- X over RL 26 out of a 27" barrel, dime sized group at 100 yards. I have no regrets.

Mine feeds like schitt through a goose as is. OAL is a RCH under 3.00".

However, I do need to load the max box in the middle, not all the way to the rear. I suppose you could add a spacer, but the rounds don't move under recoil, so I don't see the need.

I always thought a LA would be a good way to go with a fast twist 243 Winchester for the same reason.

Haven’t loaded any yet, but factory stuff about 2.9.
We are throating it so 140’s will be around 1.25
Just got the barrel blank yesterday.

No experience, but you could probably fit a 6.5 x 300 PRC with throating for 156s, in a LA 700 magazine 🤓

A guy could even go with a 264 Winchester.

Please forgive me.

I've been considering this ^^^^^ also. Only because I am already set up with LH LA parts and components. And a receiver that I keep swapping barrels on to find something that floats my boat. Would see no issue with doing the same for a PRC cartridge.

A guy could use this PT&G BDL bottom metal, which has a 3.4285" inside dimension of the magazine, according to one reviewer.
