Is there a rear sight on it? I can’t tell from the pics. How is the bore? Any function issues?

What kind of scope came with it? Maybe I just missed that part. Whatever it is, this is a great deal. Scope is a Simmons AETEC masters series 4-14x44 But that gun is screaming “peep sight!”

Ha Ha Ha, happy to be of service. :-) I gave y'all plenty of time to pull the trigger on what appears to be a really good deal. No collector value of course but, a cool rifle in its own right. And, the 300 Savage is a swell cartridge.
I doubt we will ever see new Savage 99s made. There's still a lot of Savage 99s available at good prices. I doubt that will last much longer either.
