Walkers and Blue Ticks. Uncle paid 3k for a dog back in the 70s. Bawlie was his name and he was hunted in PA, NY, and Ohio. Uncle was making about 30k a year on furs back then.

Very cool. Would take a truckload of coon fur to gross that these days.

Hey MedRiver those are great little rifles I have one my dad bought for me when I was about 6. I still use it around the property for dispatching small critters they’re very accurate for what they are too. Those are some good looking hounds. What all do you hunt with them?

MiJackpine, thanks!
Lions mostly but coon hunting keeps them working in the offseason.

I hate to see this thread die. So I got off my ass, quit effing with photobucket & trying a new host. My pics aren't great, I know that, I have neither the equipment or the head smarts for much better. But here goes.

Love the caribou pics Ptarmigan. What is you boat/motor setup? That's a Alweld 1752 with a tunnel hull that I added a grab bar and flotation pods to. The motor is a Tohatsu TLDI 50/35 jet. Pretty good setup that runs super shallow. It's getting kinda small now though as my kids get bigger.
