I may be in the market for a new magazine. The 2 rounds fit firmly in the magazine . When I try to feed a round in the shell wont come up high enough to engage the bolt. Is feeding problems usual for this gun ?

I believe it is.

I've owned 2 of those guns with 4 magazines and the best I could get is the one shotgun feeding the next round "much" of the time. This was with a good dozen different brands and types of 2 3/4" slugs and about 10 various 3" slug types. I was lucky and bought the guns cheap enough that I about broke even selling them, even after stating why I was selling them.

Other than the feeding issue, they were accurate guns. They were probably the least fussy in regards to ammo that I have owned. If I would have considered either of them as a single shot rather than a repeater I probably would have been satisfied with it.

With one in the chamber, after ejecting it, if I depress the front of the shell a bit it will line up enough to chamber. I probably shouldn't expect much more.
