Dude was the biggest deer meat mooch .
He never hunted.
Learned from my uncles and grandfather on the morrison side of the family how to hunt.
They ate alot of deer meat also

My mom was a good cook with it.


Used ta cook steak , mix up burgers , crock pot ribs.
Make jerky ect ect ect.


For me and the 3 girls when they was young, but they didnt have ta live on it.
Their dad was a senior NCO in the army , made good money , and didnt have vices to feed.

They are all grown and gone now.

Son went bowhunting last weekend and said ticks were awful. It's really hot and dry here, and I was hoping it would fry the ticks, but guess not. I'm not a hot weather hunter.

I rode the yamaha back through the weeds yesterday, came back through the oaks

Had a gazillion black aphids all over me and the moto. Looked like the paint was 'bubbling' but it was micro bugs and arthropods

Im in about 15 mins ago.
Didnt spook anything coming in that i know of.
Busting spider webs on the way in spun over night.
Deer aint moved thru from the bean fields yet it seems from all the spider webs i went thru on the way in.
Got about 15 mins before shooting light ....

I hunted Ft. Campbell back in 1968 and 69. Shot my first deer there, but some guy got to it before I did, and laid claim to it.
