I'll probably regret this... but, FS is a "Lipsey's Special" Fieldcraft 6.5 Creedmoor with 24" no.2 contour. Rifle has never been hunted, and only been to the range 3 or 4 times this past spring. It has 121 rounds down the tube. I only tried one powder (RL17) and one seating depth (.025" off lands), concentrating on finding a "hard" bullet that worked in it. Turns out it loves 130 & 140 gr Nosler Accubonds (see photos). With almost zero trouble I found this rifle shoots simply beautifully. Included is the original box, hang tags, and 1" Talley Lwt Lows. $1450 shipped USPS to your ffl. Price is firm, not interested in any trades. This is a legit shooting rifle. First "I'll take it" owns it. Please follow up with a PM for payment/shipping details. This is listed on another site. Paypal "Friends/Family" or USPS MO. Thanks.

Free bump for a great rifle. If it were left handed, this deal would be over.

Thanks OSU, it's too bad there aren't more LH lightweight options out there...

Nice rifle! Since I don't keep up with these rifles, what is a Lipsey Special?

Nice rifle! Since I don't keep up with these rifles, what is a Lipsey Special? #2 contour vs #1'ish. 24" vs 21" in the unthreaded variety. Great deal here with Talley's on a great rifle.

Nice rifle! Since I don't keep up with these rifles, what is a Lipsey Special? Lipsey's made a special run of the Fieldcraft 6.5 CM with a 24" no.2 Douglas Contour, rather than the conventional 21" no.1 Douglas Contour... I prefer the slightly heavier, weight forward feel of the no.2 contour. As 257 said, the no.2 is unthreaded, unlike the 21" which is threaded.

I prefer the slightly heavier, weight forward feel of the no.2 contour. As 257 said, the no.2 is unthreaded, unlike the 21" which is threaded. Quick correction on the available options: 24” #2 unthreaded (Lipsey’s exclusive) 22” #2 threaded and cerakoted black 21” #0/1 unthreaded 18” #2? threaded I had a 21” featherlight that I had threaded to 1/2x28 for a silencer. It consistently put up a 3/4” 5-shot group with factory Hornady ammo. I upgraded recently to the 22” threaded #2 and, with suppressor, is easily a 1/2 MOA rifle with factory Hornady loads. My point is this: Brad has lost his damn mind. Somebody snatch up this rifle before he comes to his senses.

Couple more groups... only shot a couple with these two bullets, but they certainly show promise:

What is the bare weight of the rifle? Not sure... here’s with Talley’s and a Leupold 3.5-10x40 (w/ a Mountain Sling and 4 rounds added it’s a hair under 7lbs):

Brad,
Thanks for the info. I would think that the Scope and rings shown account for 15 to 16 ounces of that 6.8 oz, so the bare rifle weight is about 5.5lbs.. ?

I have one just like this one. Shoots great. Guys, this is a bargain that shouldn’t be passed over.
