Never had Redding Bushing Type Dies before , called Redding twice today no answer either time . Do I need a full length die for a bolt gun ? or will a Body Die do all I need ? Body Die/Neck Bushing Die/Comp. Bullet Seater is the plan [tonight] although also thinking - stick to what I use successfully with other cartridges - Redding Body Die/Lee Collet/ Lee Seater but don't want to wait several weeks on a custom 6.5Lapua collet die . Learn me if you have time . Mike

Redding/Forster inline seaters ?
Their advertising for these Dies says tight fit/precision fit on ''sized'' cases does that mean a Neck Sized only case might not go into an Inline Seater ?

Those seaters can be used without regard to how the cases are sized. I'd recommend the Forster seaters....they're less expensive and seem to work as well as they possibly could. A body die will not do anything to resize the neck. The best way to go, if possible, is a Lee collet neck sizer and a Redding body die. You can also get a FL bushing die from Redding that does a good job, and that negates the need for a body die. I'd still go with the body die and collet neck die.

Have been shooting/loading for the 6.5x47 for 10 years now. Two rifles, 4-5 different barrels. The Type S "FULL" bushing die is your ticket. You'll need to test 3-4 different bushings starting with the .289, then .288, .287 and maybe the .286.
Every time I try the Forster Bushing Bump die, their bushings scratch the crap out of my brass' necks. I like both Redding and Forster Competition seating dies. Even if I were to simply lock it down and leave it, which I never have (I test too many different bullet/load combos), I like the floating cartridge chamber which helps align the bullet and cartridge case neck alignment when seating the bullet.
As an FFL, I can have Graf & sons drop ship the die set up you want at my dealer cost.

Alan Alan , Thank you for the offer , if the Lee collet/redding body die combo doesn't work out I'll contact you and copy your 6.5x47L set-up . - Mike

How are you getting a lee collet die for the 6.5x47?
I couldn’t find one and was told they aren’t doing the custom collet dies anymore.
I’ve been looking for them for that and 7 SAUM with no luck.
