Subtitled 'My Life in Special Operations'.
This book is, amazingly, a series of sea stories of Admiral McRaven's life. From his time in Texas, growing up, with childhood adventures on a military base, to BUD/S and on into training exercises gone bad, including one where his parachute riser lines get tangled and one wrapped around one leg and another around another leg and then the parachute opens and splits his pelvis apart, to work in the White House and in the Middle East (including his command catching Saddam) , it's a fascinating book of Special Forces.
If you have any interest in military activities and sea stories, it's a good book to read. I'll send mine to a friend who was on subs.
