I can not recall being issued, or ever being asked to show a "Man Card".
So, what's with that?

Similar to a Rewards Card, but it works with women. If you have never been asked for one, you don't have one. wink laugh laugh

The PCer method of referring to someone you'd normally refer to by calling them female, or certain parts thereof.

Now to be serious for a short time. There was a carpenter, near here, his first name was Frances. Frances was of slight build, and spoke softly. He built houses mostly alone, but two local men would help him from the time they got off work at 5 until after dark.

When he said something about building, I paid heed because I knew he was right.

I believe it has to do with the "man cave" which I also do not understand.

Something clever here.

I don't know where you are going with that, but being a man has nothing to do with tone of voice, build etc. It's all in actions, decisions, intentions, deeds.

Every man knows that.

Got to stay current with the lingo to be on the safe side. Don't want "Man-boobs" or a "Man-bun" either.

Ah...there is your problem.

Seventy five years ago "man card" wasn't required as all knew what they were without certification...now there is so much ambiguity the card is required so that one can wake up in the morning reach across and check what he or she is.

And that is just for males, females are a whole other different ballgame.

That one is simple enough Dave, "man cave" is American for "shed"....you wouldn't know this as you have not been exposed to English.

The small buildings where I keep firewood, lawn mowers, yard tools and junk that needs to be thrown away. Those are sheds.

I doubt David, or Goliath exchanged "Man Cards" before their battle. We know how that turned out.
