I spent all day in the oncology department at Baptist Hospital i Winston- Salem, Nc (didn't get out till after 3 PM)
They diagnosed me with what they think is stage four anaplastic large t cell lymphoma in my legs and lymph nodes in the groin area..
They did a bunch of blood work, a bone marrow biopsy and are scheduling a needle biopsy of the larger, left side lymph node.
They will install a chemo port and want to start the treatments next Wednesday.
I am set for 6 cycles at three week intervals. (18 weeks total) and if warranted radiation treatment too.
They also rearranged and discontinued/added some oral meds.

Glad to hear they're getting on it right away. This is not fair by any means HBB, no one should have to go through it 1 time let alone 3!

Stage 4 in the Lymph nodes......Sorry to hear that....
My advice, make sure you have the best doctors, and be as aggressive with the Chemo as your health allows. Get it stopped whiles it's below the diaphragm and away from all your vital organs.

I'm really sorry to hear that HBB but thanks for giving us an update. You're one of the good guys so please keep a positive attitude.....I know several people that have beat the odds big-time with their cancer and you're going to be the next one!!!
