Yea I’m watching the Note play against the Capitals tonight, and yea I’m enjoying our (st. Louis) hoisting of our very first Stanley Cup banner. But that aside, is there anything more enjoyable in professional sports on TV than hockey? Baseball and football too slow, basketball, ............. well if they ever held the players to the actual rules, but still doesn’t interest me. (My 5’-6” stature has nothing to do with this)

Hockey is the last major sport that I had any interest in. I always liked watching Don Cherry & Co on CBC, living in a border city. Last year, we moved 4 miles and cable wasn't offered, only DirecTV. They don't offer CBC, I'm bummed. Of course, the way the Red Wings have been the last few years, it's no great loss. Four teams here in Detroit, and none came close to a winning record...

Don Cherry is a fùcktard, but not nearly as bad as Mike Emrick. Worst NHL announcer on earth. A blind guy doing play by play could do a better job.
