sportsmans just had a flier in the wednesday paper. some stuff on sale. https://www.sportsmans.com/storeflyer and input the zip code of your closest store. they are not showing the current one for flagstaff, maybe they wait until tomorrow when it kicks in.

Haven't had them here for eight years or so, but what they were then sure beats the hell outa what Cabela's is now. I agree, I prefer them over cabelas and bass pro these days. Same here, they closed our store in 2008. A little pricey , but they had inventory, And the guys who worked there were hunters and fishermen that knew their stuff. I have emailed corporate a few times asking them to come back. Not another outdoor store 100 miles from me but Dicks and their worthless

For you folks that have access to these stores, what do you think of them? Dicks is selling the local Field & Stream store to them. so hoping for an improvement. Wonder if it is all F&S? Story is the one in Altoona Pa. Is going to become a Sportsmans also. Yippee! F Dicks, and their Schiddty Field and Stream!

I prefer Sportsmans to Cabelas and Scheels, but sometimes I still visit Scheels.
Cabelas, not so much.
Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!

Its the only box store I’ve been able to assemble a rifle, scope, mounts, and sling.
They were doing well until the owner cheated on his wife, maybe they slowly come back

I've never been in a Field & Stream, just Dicks many years ago. Sportsman's Warehouse is so far above a Dick's they're not even in the same league, not even the same sport.
+1 Went to one Wednesday great store too bad it is a 200+ mile drive to it Luckily i was on work time since we have a site nearby that needed a wireless network upgrade/repair. Joke at work is I drive 7 hours round trip for a 20 minute repair than 2 hours at Sportsman Warehouse

They were pretty good until Cabela's came to town, but ever since Bass Pro bought out Cabela's I've been hoping they come back. SW is better than Dicks and Scheels

I’ve been a big fan since I visited the first one in UT. Since relocating to NY, I’ve been pleading with Corporate to open stores here. Hoping Field & Stream closings make it happen. Since Gander shut down, our only option have been very long drives to a small Bass Pro.

The Sportsmans Warehouse in Chattanooga, TN is very good. The employees are friendly and helpful.

There is one in Chattanooga, about an hour north of me. I really like the store and go in there anytime I'm in the area. This particular store always has a good supply of reloading gear and a very well stocked firearms display. I like them a LOT more than Dicks, even better than Cabelas. Living in GA I can't buy handguns there, and while their prices on guns are good, I've only bought one. In GA my carry permit allows me to skip the background check. If I buy in TN it is a $10 fee, plus sales tax is considerably more which eats up the savings.
Most people don't really want the truth.
They just want constant reassurance that what they believe is the truth.
