Very Cool, What movies were you an extra in?
I was on China Beach a couple times, played Amish on Murder She Wrote, I was in Army of Darkness, a few sitcoms, and a Guiness beer commercial with Rutger Hauer. (Got a chance to discuss that crossbow he carried in Lady Hawk.) RH just died not to long ago. What did he have to say about the CB? I had studied that crossbow, frame by frame in the movie, intending to recreate it. The more I studied it, the less sense it made. It was a double decker crossbow with top and bottom bows, and no matter how i figured it out, there was no mechanism i could foresee that would keep that bottom bolt in place, and still fire, as shown in one very brief scene. It baffles me. I had to ask.... Turns out, it was held in place with super glue! And the one very close, fast shot you see fired, was a mock up piece, using compressed air to throw the bolt. It was too close a camera shot to see how it's fired, but just enough to see it launch off the bottom rail. (Lol...movie magic. How tall was King King? 3 feet.  ) Yeah, Hollyweird magic, it's something else.

A twenty-something coworker used to brag on hanging out at a strip club, married one of the girls when she got pregnant. He would brag about the sex they were having.
After she gave birth she made his life a living Hell. He was often late the times she just up and left him with the infant in the morning. He wasn’t hired back the following year.
Last I heard she was moving out, using a car some wealthy strip club patron in his 60’s had bought for her. So yeah, that one really fit Rb’s description of a psycho who would milk a man for every last dime. I know this guy, or a dude just like him.... I dated a girl back in high school that got hooked on drugs and started turning tricks to pay for it. Luckily I found out about it almost immediately and ended that relationship.

Most of the girls in the strip clubs around here augment their income by modeling, appearing in videos,bachelor parties, trips to Vegas to work the strip and turning trick with local club patrons. Whatever it takes to support themselves and their kids, many live a high flying lifestyle for a while and burn out by age 40.

When I was in college I was pretty close friends with a stripper. I have not seen her in many years now.
The OP questioned whether someone had married a porn star. I think a guy would have to be plain stupid to marry a porn star. Marrying a stripper is a bad idea too. I knew a guy who married a stripper and it didn't end well.

Beaver10: Back in the day I was a law enforcement type and served several "stints" on Seattle's famous (infamous!) "Skid Road".
Sadly this beat was immediately adjacent to a long time favored haunt of young (mostly runaway's) homosexual boys who were intent on earning monies prostituting themselves.
Several times over the years I had occasion to "run off" the well known porn-star, drag queen, pedophile(?) know as "Divine"!
Seems "he" was greatly attracted to rather young boy whores.
On one occasion he and another drag queen type kept circling the block looking the young male prostitutes over and stopping to chat - he (she?) was driving a brand new Mercedes that turned out to be registered to a limp wristed Seattle city councilman.
The two "dragsters" had flown up from kalifornicationkopia to seek out new prospects, it seemed, here in the area of Skid Road known, amongst homosexuals, as "Second and Penney's" (it was the block that the J.C. Penney's store was back then - Second and Union).
Both deviants were given final warnings and were told they would be arrested if they continued "contacting" known prostitutes in this known area of homosexual prostitution.
Looking back I wish I had taken the rest of that late night shift to do the paperwork on the kalifornicationkopian metro-sexuals.
The entity known as "Divine" asked me as he (she? ) was leaving if I hadn't stopped her (him?) before - indeed I had, I replied.
The actor, pornist known as "Divine" died at a young age as I recall.
Among the movies he (she?) made with John Waters (director, producer) were Hairspray, Lust in the Dust and Pink Flamingo.

Marrying a female that works in the sex industry is just plain stupid. Most if not all have a past like 40 miles of bad road, only decisions they know how to make are bad ones. A friend of mines mom worked in a gentlemans club for awhile as a hair dresser back in the 90s. The girls would tell her all of their problems and most of them were train wrecks, they would also have brutal fights over high paying patrons in the dressing room. She didnt stay there long and after she left one of the girls took her own life.
