Chicken, and turkey that is, I like dark, my wife will only eat the dark in a pinch. That works out well until I buy a bag of chicken hind quarters cheap.

My favorite part of either bird is the liver. For chickens I like wings best and turkeys and pheasants I prefer thighs.

When it comes to women, I'm a chestnut. But with birds, I'm a thigh guy.

For a long time I preferred the white meat but the last couple of years Slavyanka and I both like dark meat. We'll bypass chicken breasts on sale and grab chicken thighs instead. Much more tender and juicy.

Dark for me. White chicken meat is good canned. Otherwise its way to dry for me.

I like the dark meat for fat and flavor. I prefer boneless thighs as a wing substitute. Great dark meat treat.

I happily eat both. Prefer dark though.
Chick thighs are my favorite. Drumsticks second.

Much prefer dark meat for chicken and turkey; white is too easily screwed up.

Prefer thighs and drumstick. Wife hits the wings first. For just two of us, breasts are often used for sandwiches, tacos, stir fry, and similar.

Wings are my fave, then dark meat. The breast is too dry with less flavor.

Breast man myself. 🤠 The legs are the only dark meat I’ll eat.

Dark.
Boneless thighs are the bomb. Pretend they are boneless breast, But with flavor and juice.
We like to get those great big chicken hips, bone and skin them. Then roll them up around homemade stuffing. Tooth pick them together and bake. Bones and skin make broth to mix with drippings.
Gravy, 'taters.

I too will eat it all including the liver, gizzard & heart. But dark is my preference. The super treat is those 2 little nuggets on the backbone. The desert is that little yellow piece of fat(probably a ligament) in the knee joint.
I must try feet someday.

I prefer dark meat and chicken thighs are great when smoked with alderwood. Just finished a batch of thighs that I smoked after being marinated in white vinegar.

I must try feet someday. My mom used to call those back nuggets the “oysters”. I kept the feet’s from our chickens when we butchered this year. I’m a little ascared to cook them. 😳

The oysters are some of the tastiest meat on a turkey, I always make sure they find their way onto my plate. I also like gizzards, hearts and livers, gravy made with the neck is some of the best.

Thighs are my favorite.
I buy Turkey thighs on sale after Thanksgiving, and put them in the freezer for later.
Sure make good soup!

For Thanksgiving dinner I like the white meat smothered in gravy. For the leftovers, sandwiches, salad, I like the dark meat.
