Not a big knife guy, but I'very always liked the look of the Junglee Pacific hunter. Is this a decent quality belt knife? Cost, if I can find one?

I have one of their Tak [bleep] hunters AUS8-A Stainless. Its a good serviceable steel used by several companies. It is not available in the US, but companies like Al Mar Knives and Cold Steel, and some of Ontario's Rat series, have their blades ground in Japan , and sent here. It holds a a fair edge, and goes back to super sharp with just a ceramic rod. Most of their knives are hollow ground. Great for game animals.

Do you need to go to your happy place?

At the other end of the table, watching all this, aunt Beth is dipping into her fifth Highball, aunt Mary is crying into her napkin.

Actually I said something that went right over your head! Nothing passive aggressive about it.

AUS8 Does NOT hold a fair edge, hence why it sharpens so easy! 57 to 58 RC at the spine isn't going to retain an edge very long. Now take into account the actual RC at the edge is probably more on the side of 56ish on a factory knife at best. But I am not guessing!

it's a wonder that anyone posts about a knife here. I keep the montana troll on ignore, so I don't see his stupidity or experience his rancor. Makes reading the threads easier.
