I've been an Asolo whore for nearly 15 years, but I'm always glad to look at new stuff.

Needs:
* Wide (10.5, EEEEEEEEE, unless they have 'em even wider)
* Good ankle support
* Waterproof
* Lightweight is also great, but not the end-all

I've worn they Fugitive GTX in just about all terrains, and they feel like house slippers. I got TPS 520's for sheep & goat hunts, & the extra ankle support was invaluable - that made it more than worth the extra weight to me.

What's out there these days that trends wide, and holds up well?

Thanks in advance,

FC

Not a backpacker, but I will be watching this thread with interest. My feet are normal at the heel and eeee at the toebox, and proper fitting footware has been a challenge all my life.

Not many options out there for duck feet. I either scrunch my toes or slide around in the heel.

Moved to Hunter's Campfire. It'll probably get more traffic, and inspire much better pissin' matches.

Keen's are a good boot. You could also check on Vasque boots.

Seriously, just razzin' you a little. I also have trouble getting boots that are wide enough to fit my bear paws, so I will be watching this thread!

Here you Go. I’ve got narrow feet and I like the narrow Lowa’s I can order.
