I have one on a Kimber 8400. Work of art is the only way to describe it... Been meaning to post a review on it. Will get some pics and notes up tomorrow.

Thank You, and I agree it is a work of art. There is nothing close design wise that is currently made. Any issues at all mounting your scope, boresighting, ring marks ? etc

I've been using Richard Near's scope mounts for close to 15 years. I third the observation that his mounts are functional artwork. Other high-end mounts (Spuhr, MPA, Nightforce, etc...) may be as good as Richard's mounts, but they aren't better.
