Guys, I thought that I would start here first, if this is the wrong spot please let me know gently.
I just had a 1963 Featherweight 3006 rebarreled with a heavy Krieger Barrel for several reasons. I have the take off barrel complete and wonder if there is a market for them? If so what are they worth? I can email pictures if there is interest.

Check ebay. They have them all the time. What was your reason for taking it off? The pre 64 barrels were pretty damn good in their own right. I'm assuming your Kreiger shoots better than my 30-06 fwt?


Or was/is there another reason you took it off? Didn't like iron sights on it. Too original for you? Front hood kept falling off... If your barrel wasn't shooting good or is completely worn out, what is it worth? Check ebay, they sell them from almost brand spanking new to old and crusty with most of the bluing gone. I have a 300wm sightless barrel that doesn't have any rifling left in it. I wonder how much that one is worth? I used it for a pry bar a couple times...

BSA, Nice Shooting!~ I had a bad fall and broke my back earlier and , the Featherweight just caused discomfort. Loved the stock and the action so heavier barrel was my choice. The stock was already cut before me and floated so no super collector value.
