Has anyone used these? Im considering having a cz drilled and tapped as they make one for this application that looks clean and un obtrusive. The NECG one is just too big and ugly looking imho.

The other thing i need is some advice for a top flight barrel mounted express site. Any recommendations?

I just put one on a Marlin 336 in .35Rem. Love it so much I'll be ordering some more for other rifles.

I put a Skinner Express aperture on my Henry 327. I like it a lot. I do not know about the CZ, but they have several color combinations available for the Henry. I chose a unit which is mostly blued to match the rifle with a bit of brass near the rear. I have a piece in the rear barrel dovetail to which a spare aperture is screwed into.

I put a Skinner peep sight on my Winchester 94-22 Mag. And am VERY happy with it!

I put a Skinner Alaskan on my Marlin 1895GS. I really like it and probably couldn't say enough good things about it to do it justice.

I put them on both my 1886 45-70 and 1895 30-06 and am completely happy.
Good solid sights and a great company to deal with

Years ago I had Andy modify his receiver sight and I think my Marlin 1895 in 45-70 wears the first "Skinner Alaskan" receiver sight. I think it and a XS front sight with a white line and flat top are as good as it gets for a rifle used with out a scope. I believe Skinner Sights also offers a front sight with a flat top and a white paint that can be applied to it.

I also have one of his barrel mounted peep sights that fits into the dove tail of my Husky Lite 30-06. Makes the little Mauser stay a tad over 6 lbs. with 5 rounds. A good packing little power house.

The owner is easy to deal with, makes a very good product and offers many eye appealing varieties. One of his nifty offerings is a receiver sight milled to accept Talley Medium Height QD rings so a scope can be attached if one wants to go that route.

I would like to see that XS sight with a brass or gold vertical line. Would mimic one Brockman used to make that was quite a great sight for a peep. I used it instead of a scope SIGHT on a 458 WM. Be Well, Rusty.

Ive bought two sets for marlins. The huge "skinner" writing on them turned me off. Like having a huge Browning sticker on the back window of your pickup. The sites were nice otherwise so I filed off the writing, buffed and reblued them. Honestly I am not too excited about the elevation adjustment on them either but its useable. Most of my lever actions wear Williams sites, or older ones get Lyman, Marbles, or Redfield receiver sites.
