I Tried Flipping the photo just in case the Negative had been Flipped
But its all wrong Left handed action and logo backwards
So the drive train on that Indian model was on the opposite side

This bike looks like from similar time period. It's at the Indy Museum in Speedway, IN.

The shift lever is on the right side of both bikes. You can see the black shift knob sticking up by the tank on the red one.

Early indian scout,vs indian power plus chief. early scout has no rear suspension,where the chief had semi eliptacal leaf spring rear suspension. i really like the way the shooter is hunkering down on the bike to get his shot. I used to have a bunch of indian bikes in the 60's and 70's. Don

Bawana Cotter is said to have killed two leapords at one time by hand. Couldn't do a buff that way though.
