Watched some deer, found one I wanted to shoot. 6mm-250 (bought right here on the classifieds) and 95 Berger.

That's probably all for backpack hunts this fall. Got a couple cow tags left, but hey this isn't Rokslide so I don't need to shiver myself to sleep in a tipi to hunt those, ha.

I bought a 6-250 here in the classifieds that has earned my love as well. Great cartridge!

Awesome buck & bull; always love seeing pics of your adventures!

Nice work,

Snowy- what are you using for a meat bag between your pack bag and frame?

That one is a stone glacier load cell. It's the right shape and big enough to fit about 70-75# of meat. I have also used a previous iteration from them and a 35L sea to summit eVac drybag, but it's just a little too small for anything more than a boned out muley.

Hell ya. That's what I like to see.

I got me a good mule deer and decent elk this year too, near Bondurant. Not quite as big as either of yours, but good enough for me.
Love that Wyoming Range backcountry hunting....

Nice work with some great eating on the menu. Nice to see the 6.5CM is out there bringing home the vittles.
