I've taken this thing apart looking for some Lil nubs like the Tupper ware stock on the 700, but I don't see them. I've also searched the Web and can't find any pics of the "speed bumps". The only thing I see is the side of the barrel channel hits about 2" in front of lug. I was gonna relieve the channel some because a dollar won't slide. So if one of you fine gentleman can point out where the bumps are, I would really appreciate it.

I have had a few T3 and T3x rifles. The synthetic models all had this "bump" every last one shot or shoot so well that I only cleaned them and adjusted the trigger. I would leave well enough alone.

Yep thats where it hits. I also noticed the aluminum recoil lug with marks. I'll change that out as well to SS one.

You can change the lug, but it has no effect and on performance.
And you need to have way more clearance than a piece of paper.

And you need to have way more clearance than a piece of paper. I agree about the piece of paper, it needs a lot more clearance for a proper freefloat, but not the lug. If it is wiggling around enough that it is marring the surface of the lug and it's noticeable, like as in the steel lug on my CTR, it's going to affect accuracy: If it were me, I'd chit can the aluminum one and replace it with a steel or titanium one. By the way, here's how my rifle shot when the lug was loose: This is how it shoots now, after glass bedding everything and securing the lug: No speed bumps on the CTR to speak of, but my superlite had them. I got rid of them and glass bed that rifle and it shoots lights out...
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

It’s not the aluminum lug that’s the issue... it’s the way the lug fits into the stock that causes the marring.
Super glue the lug to the receiver, with the lug pressed forward in the recess.... then bed it like you would a Remington. When you pull it apart, the lug will stay in the bedding, and you’ll see no more marring of the lug.... because nothing can move.

I had a Tikka stock with the speed bump and another that the speed bump had been removed from - using the same action there was no detectible difference between groups shot with or without the speed bump. I would shoot the rifle before removing them, chances are that it will shoot just fine with them.

Most will not notice precision improving with or without the speed bumps. However, static POI from various rests is improved with them gone.

I’ve four bedded into Wildcat stocks (without bumps). I’ve noticed no difference.
Yup.

BSA, do you have any pictures of your bedding. A buddy and I have the exact same CTR in 6.5CM and Leupold scope. I would love to beat him just once at the range.

Here’s a laminated stock with the lug bedded into it... the synthetics bed up the same. Tikkas are wonderfully accurate right out of the box... but I’ve seen some moderately wandering zeros with them. The bedding fixes that. I’ve never seen one shoot worse after bedding... but I’ve seen a bunch of them go from accurate... to damn accurate.
