I have a PCP airgun that currently has an SWFA 3-15X42 FFP mounted on it. I want to try to stay with the same quality but go noticeably lighter.

Must have:
Quality
Adjustable AO
10X or more ( probably could live with 9X )
Fast focus eyepiece
18oz max

Used to exist. There was the Bushnell 3200 5-15X40AO & 4200 4-16x40AO and I can still find used. I was hoping for more options and ability to purchase new.

Those are not the same quality as the SWFA.

They were high end, made in Japan optics. The SWFA is built like a tank but I think "quality" wise, they are equal.

They were decent scopes, but in durability, reliability, and correct functioning they are not the same quality. And yes, I have used them extensively.

If they suit your use, great.

What is the close parallax of the Meopta and how do they handle air guns?

14x 10 minutes ago..............curb is 26.6 yards from my front door. No parallax while moving my head around. Anything closer and it's a no go. So, pretty close to the dial of 30yd or meters or whatever Meopta means by "30"

Here it is on 4x......

I'm not sure how they would hold up on a "springer", but I can't imagine a PCP being an issue. However, I've never used one on an air rifle of any kind. A call to Meopta would clear it up for sure.

Lazy Saturday here, raining lib tears all day.

Airguns are Hawke territory for sure.... They've been at it for like a couple decades? That Airmax looks just right....
