Well I was planning to come hunt some ducks over that flooded corner of your bean field and then sit in the corner and pop that big ten point that has been using the North side of the field but since you are going out there and combining I reckon I'll just sit in the rain and watch Jeremiah Johnson for the 10th time this month.

Went to church. Came home and got ingredients prepared and into slow cooker for a roast come supper time.

Missed church all together.

Not totally unheard of however. Not sure if I am a Catholic, Lutheran, Methodist or a Presbyterian.

Wonder if there is a spit test I could take that would tell me?

Sure there is!

You stand up and announce to the congregation that you drink, womanize and gamble...

The one congregation that doesn't spit on you is when you announce that, is the one you belong to... grin

Tried calling my buddy. I reckon he is Catholic.....he has had his phone off for two hours already.

I try and time it so he is kneeling in prayer......when I call.

Going the other direction....listening to some nice Sunday music!

You going by SeaFoods of the World?

Nope, but I might detour north a little bit. I have two antelope tags for 550 and since I’ll be in the area...😎

We are up in the Six Nine Zero.

Seems to be some decent numbers in the area.

Good Luck!

Got my service done in at 6am. Love them early morning services. No singing all business in and out in 35 min. Stopped by store picked up some items. Came home cooked breakfast for family. Grandson spending day with us Mom and Dad have work. Wife and grandson will go to service in an hour and ill take a late morning nap. Then out to work in garage and yard rest of day. How much work get done depends on level of participation by Grandson.

Glad to hear you farm folk getting at least some break from the weather to get your work done.

Just got home from crappie fishing. Wind came up and I only got 5 but decided it was too rough to continue. Will plant my garlic this afternoon.

Getting ready to take my wife on a drive to see Cochise Stronghold on the east side of the Dragoons - she's never been there and my last visit was during a Coues deer hunt in the mid-90s. She also is curious to see the town of Douglas on the border (I'm not, but her interests matter a bunch) so we probably will continue down 191 to do that. I was offered a first teaching job in Douglas in 1961 - had never been west so knew nothing - but did not like the idea of a border site and so did not sign up. Have been happy about that ignorant decision ever since. Chose a small town job in the SW Arizona desert instead. That was good. We are not going there today.

Way more now and typically this time of year. I’d be surprised if we weren’t below that this past summer.

Much propane used for drying grain there?

No profit in drying grain here.

Took my baby girl (12 yesterday) to breakfast and then to the range to play with her new 10/22. She likes it 😍
