The kid has a 6x Mil/Mil SWFA on her T3 .308, and while I have not spent much time shooting it, I found that ringing my steel that set out at 500 (1/2 size IPSC) was not challenging. ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/WWCXC3c.jpg) It is an amazingly simple, and rock solid little rifle. It would make a dandy little coyote calling rifle too. Personally I prefer 10X, but that is due to previous use of fixed 10s.

650 seems where I start wondering WTF is going on. Ya know - I find that to be an awfully long shot too. Particularly in the field, on game. I've never shot game out that far despite the temptation a couple of times. At a range? Different story, different scope.  Guy So many variables its kind of a case by case basis just like any shot with any setup should be. That said I've taken our small WT deer out past 550 with irons and an AR before so as noted, its case by case and what you feel comfortable with Comfortable to me is my brain saying 200% I've got this.
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....
