For sale is a Ruger M77 Varmint in 22-250 caliber with 24" heavy barrel. Comes with 1" Ruger rings. Barrel is tapped on front scope block and further down barrel for long "Unertl-type" scopes. Serial number 74-212XX indicates a 1979-80 year of manufacture. This one has the Ruger red recoil pad and tang safety. Overall condition is very good. There are a few dings here and there on the wood, with only one near checkering on left pistol grip of any significance. The biggest detractor is a brass plate for engraving mounted on left side of the buttstock. It is removable and small holes could be filled (photo available) The metal is very good except for a couple of small scratches on bottom of the the barrel 6" from muzzle. The rifling looks great -- has to be very low round count. I have digital borescope photos if needed. I have numerous photos that are available by PM-ing your email.
