Anyone use these bullets out of a 270 Win.? If so, is the listed .540 G1 B.C. real-world-ish? Are they accurate and will they expand/open up on game for a quick kill? Just curious, I don't plan on using any just yet, but bought some tother CEB bullets to test in an upcoming 300 Win Mag.

To answer your first question - no. I have not used them.
Second question - yes. The BCs, at least G7, are real worldisch. Under https://cuttingedgebullets.com/amfile/file/download/file_id/7762/product_id/36/ you find a G7 BC of .227 has been established for that bullet by Applied Ballistics LLC.
Third question - I don't know (see 1), but they should, as they are constructed to fragment and that down to 1600 fps.

Am fixing to testing em in my .308 Win. but not quite there yet.

Cutting Edge is located in Drifting PA, not very far to the east of Clearfield and right along I 80 off the Kylertown exit.
The owners name is Dan Smitco, and he would for sure give an honest answer to any questions.
A lot is determined by twist rate of the barrel as to wether his bullet would stabilize well in your gun.
When i visited his facility he told me his 300 gr 338 bullet wouldn’t work well in my 10 twist barrel for example.
At that time they weren’t placing BC numbers on the box, due to that number being velocity oriented.

I shoot many calibers with CEB bullets they love speed....you would do best to use a lighter weight than with a cup-core bullet...."Raptors" work best on game animals....in a 270 I would use https://cuttingedgebullets.com/277-6-8mm-90gr-er-extended-range-raptor.....in a 300 BO, 308, 300 RSM I use https://cuttingedgebullets.com/308-100gr-flat-base-raptor...

Here's the one I've used. .308, not .270, but you get the idea.

I wrote the first review, included pictures. Check it out.

Gents, thank you for your feedback. I contacted CEB and they're very responsive. Sounds like these would amplify a .270 win against wind more than most any other 130gr component bullet.

In .300 win mag, it was made clear that 180gr. Lazer are near max in a 1:10 twist. The 200gr might stabilize at my hunting elevations (usually between 6000-10000ft), but won't stabilize at my main shooting range just above sea level. That said, there are plenty of all-copper 300 win mag (.308) bullets that have both high b.c and will stabilize in a 1:10 twist.
