Wednesday I shot a nice clean eight point in a light rain with my crossbow

on Saturday Gwen shot a 10 point we've been watching since spring. I called him the G2 kicker. This is her first year using a crossbow and second deer this year. she was able to see him fall from the stand.

Both are 3.5 year old mature bucks and both were killed out of my bow stand on our farm in mid Missouri. All the habitat improvement and food plot work is paying off. Our farm is holding a bunch of does and drawing in a ton of bucks.

id be happy to text some pictures if someone could post them for me.

Bobby

That’s awesome, we had 11 kids in youth camp this year. They got 5 bucks and two doe. Weather was nice, but deer movement was slow.

Nice bucks, congrats to you and Gwen. And to answer Lawdwaz, we get one more buck tag that can be filled either with a rifle or with a bow following the rifle season. Only one buck can be taken prior to rifle season.
