Anybody have one and want to talk about it? Friend showed up with one at moose camp. Now I want one. Except for the dated stock style, it looks like a ZG47 to look for. The bottom metal is an improvement over the sheet metal ones I've seen on some Brnos.

What centre-fire Brno have you seen with sheet-metal bottom metal?

So far as I am aware the bottom metal on the Hussar is the normal ZG47 bottom metal.

These are my opinions, feel free to disagree.

Thanks for the input. I may be mistaken about the sheet metal bottom metal on the Brno ZG47 I came across years ago.

Unless you are remembering the magazine box under the bottom metal, on the ZG47 it is not integral to the bottom metal as it is on the Model 21 and most other Mausers.

It is a heavy metal box not unlike the set-up on Remington, but set solid to the bottom metal...milled would be nice but it is not a problem.
