It is illegal to carry in bars in AK. The shooter has multiple felony convictions so the laws are clearly not working... A convicted felon with a gun? That should land him in a federal prison for quite a spell. The Feds should be on him like stink on a monkey. Aren't the Federal prosecutors doing their job in Alaska? Federal prosecutors are too busy prosecuting subsistence sport hunters and boaters to worry about the little things like violent federal crimes. 😉 Fixed it

The Gaslight, frequented by the local inebriates and homeless natives. I've got a buddy that's a DJ in that place, I hope it wasn't him that was shot. Reports are he is a big guy... for whatever that is worth.

Reports are he is a big guy... for whatever that is worth. My friend is a big guy but there's probably a few of them working in that bar. Hopefully they'll release his name soon.

Just found out the victim was the bartender and his spine was severed by a 380. Also, the bouncer pulled off the guy holding down the wrist and freed the gun hand so the bartender could be shot.
