In my 270 win with 140gr Accubonds RL23 is my go to powder. Worth a try in the 280 rem.

I shoot the exact load that is Nosler #4 manual of IMR 7828 with a 160g Sierra BTSP at 2930 fps, small groups, hammers all game near and far.

58 grs of IMR 7828 with a 154 gr SST is like a laser beam outta my 280 as well as the 150 gr NBT...Don't believe all the horror stories about the SST's. The newer versions seem to be "tougher" then the originals or at least they have been for me
