Viking,
I havent seen one personally but I'll bet that wood is sweet.
Ingwe,
Were you reloading for them or just factory ammo?
I have a bunch of 69, 75, 77, grain bullets to try in this once I get it.
Josh,
Did your rifle come threaded or did you get it done?
Running a 5/8×24 thread or 1/2×28?

I lopped the factory barrel off at 16" and threaded it 1/2x28.

Go for the 1-8
If you ever decide to shoot heavier you can.
I have the 1-10 and it’s fine but wish I could shoot the heavies

All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

I’m not seeing a 223 offering? Would be a nice option though.

Gonz I’m sure you’ve checked with Josh about the mag mod. I noticed Brownells has them for $45 if you wanted a extra.

The short action mags show to not be in stock.

Just picked up a used one for $400. I had some rounds left over I loaded for my AR (69gr loaded to AR mag length). Cold bore shot was good. Next three shots, cloverleaf. How boring.

The Teeker 223 mags suck ass, just like ALL things Teeker magazine associated. Hint. Congratulations?!?

Toss a 1913 inclined interface atop, that is pinned and you can quit fretting base failures. I'm DONE with 1pc base/rings,as I've puked too many and because ring spacing is your scope's(ANY fhuqking scope) BEST friend. Hint.

If your DBM isn't an AICS footprint, rest assured...that it is a piece of fhuqking schit. Hint.

Thats pretty much the 'load development' for a Tikka..you put ammo in it....

Stick,
You've got me interested in the AICS mag dbm. Any clues thrown my way would be appreciated.

I'm the "new" owner of Mackay's gun and it is quite the shooter. Loves 63 grain Sierra SMPs and 75 grain Hornady BTHPs with 748 powder....

Buy one if you can find one...

No matter the platform, nothing helps a scope,as much as maximum ring spacing and a 1913 rail simply has NO equal. Hint.

To date,I've only puked (8) sets of LW's. Hint.

Fact is,I'm prolly slammin' a new rifle together right now and 1913'ing THE schit outta it too. Hint.

Just sayin'. Hint.(grin)

It's never been difficult to cypher who shoots and who don't.

Modified Talleys in low. 16bore’s dad made mine, you can buy them at Whittaker Guns now. All my Tikkas wear them.
