A 2006 thread resurrected!
In a somewhat parallel current tale...
Wife and I were cruising back roads looking for wild berries this summer. I parked her in the shade to read her book while I prospected a knoll beside the road 15 yards ahead. Got a few berries, got my feet tangled in those ground-hugging vines of trailing blackberries, and fell as I worked my way back down to the road. I let out a grunt when I hit and roll/flopped into the road ditch.
Wife heard the grunt, looked up to see me lying in the ditch and told me that she thought I was calling and elk so she looked around for critters.
