Just watched an interesting documentary about Americans that moved to the Soviet Union during the depression.

They wanted skilled laborers to help build their country. At least they did until Stalin decided they were mostly spies and they started being hauled away in the night never to be seen again.

Of course the US consulate would do nothing for them. Thousands were hauled out into the forests, shot in the back of the head and buried in mass graves. Another perk of socialism.

i've lived and traveled all over the world. 90% of the world is a schithole compared to the us. forget about europe unless you like paying huge taxes to support muzzies that hate you. have a few bucks in latin america and your ass will be kidnapped or robbed and murdered. phillipines is a schithole. nice weather but the poverty and corruption is staggering. indo china, same. japan is ridiculous. south korea ain't bad but the culture and language are a real barrier. korean women love americans though. hoo ha. so where does that leave? africa? middle east? ya the US is the only place to be. thats why everybody wants to come here.

that said, never been to australia. might be ok down that way. except for all the fuggen nasty schit that can kill you like spiders, crocs. giant sharks, etc.

I spent the 1st 50 years of my life travelling the world and have lived in 1st and 3rd world countries. I have seen many places that I liked but none, in which I would choose to live if the USA were an option. Those that think other places are better are naive and have probably rarely left sight of their front porch and have no concept of what real freedom actually feels like.

Got Mexicans sneaking across the border, of course,...Guatemalans,...Trinadadian and Tobagians,...even caught some Congolese down there recently,...Congo-fuggin-"half a generation away from eating each other"-lese,....sneaking across the southern border.

When was the last time they caught a Hungarian trying to sneak across the U.S.A. southern border?
