I always FL size new brass. Time saved is not worth the risk in my opinion. Same. Haven't seen a reason not to, and the small amount of potential time saved isn't worth it.

I always size new, unfired brass, regardless of brand. It straightens out the necks which are often out of round. After sizing, I run them all through the lathe trimmer to square up the case mouths and then I de-burr and chamfer them. Extra work, but then I know each case will be its best when I load it the first time.

I bump new brass over the expander to round the neck, then chamfer the case mouth. That's it.
Now with even more aplomb

I have neck dies for almost everything I load. Run new brass thru them. De burr and off to the races. Hasbeen

It's never not AMAZING,just how STUPID you Dumb Fhuqks are. Hint. Congratulations?!?
I wanna neck down and form a Virgin false shoulder, for finite initial(and subsequent) headspace control. Obviously, none of you gals have a fhuqking headspace clue, which should scare you more than a smidge. Hint. LAUGHING!
Secondly, all Virgins are "fire formed" on their first poke. After that, cases are sized as per requisite(s) of a given platform...which is most typically just a goodly portion of the neck and ZERO shoulder. Then the Lot is measured somewhat and then trimmed in length,to align with the shortest culprit which was measured and trimmed square. Hint.
When talking good brass(I am),that's likely the one and only trim requisite per life cycle,as good dies are EASY on brass. Pass TiN bushings for .003" constriction and toss expander balls offa fhuqking cliff. Hint.
Bless your hearts for trying though.
Hint.
LAUGHING!...............
