Had a guy do that once to a buddy and I. Maybe 1 or 2 others on the range.
We racked our rifles, waited for him to finish.
Then we took turns shooting at the target he was using to sight in.
Funniest damn thing listening to rant and rave how he couldn't get his rifle sighted.
He finally gave up and left. That's awesome! ....... I would so do that. <laff>

Stick you are a glutton....
Texted D today and the 6 creed is long gone so he talked me into an 18” threaded 243. Still have some brass with a L on the head stamp so I figured I’d try one out for 1150... Ultra 7 6.5 will make it a right handy pack rifle...

I've been all over central Ky. gun shops asking the see, handle a Fieldcraft. No love. Hard to buy a $1500 rifle when you don't need it & 'ya haven't even seen one. But when the reports are to the max on the positive, & the price is $1150, what 'ya gonna do??????????????????

Well schitt. Just ordered a Kimber 6.5. Held out as long as I could. If the Fieldcraft 243 is still in stock in a couple weeks....I'll pick up one of those. Dammit.

I ordered a 243 just now for my ankle biters. Have a 6 Creed in FC but I recall paying more. Can’t see building at that price.
Yup.

Damn if you didn't ! when I bumped this thread there was 10, now 9, 243's. If 9 more rascals would step up, I'm off the hook.

Paired my FC 6 creed with a rail and Bushnell 3-12 from cameraland. Fits like a glove and handles like a .22. Sighted in Thursday, dropped a doe yesterday. My new go to rifle.

Picked up my 6mm Fieldcraft yesterday. Quick shipment by Whittaker's.
One sweat rifle ! I've got a extra Leupold VX-Freedom 2-7x33 thats going on it to finish the hunting season.
For the future I'm going to need a scope. Would like to keep the gun nimble.
What scope inside 300 yards ? Average around 150.

Well.............................Fieldcraft .243 on the way. I'm selling off one of my Howa Alpine .243's to my Dad. I'd have picked up another 6.5 Creed Kimber limited, but I already have one. I'm a wood/blue guy, so this Fieldcraft was "justified" as I need a rifle impervious to the elements.
Midwayusa has 105 gr HPBT Hornady bullets for $101 per 500 pack and Free shipping FYI.............should be killer in the Fieldcraft .243 with Ramshot Hunter(I've got 8lbs of it).
Only 7 Left on the .243 Fieldcraft.........don't Dilly Dally

Well you KNOW going in,that the Reupold 2-7 and 2.5-8's are steaming pieces of fhuqking schit,on their BEST fhuqking days. Have yet to see either hold zero or track. Hint. Congratulations?!? In fairness, however,I've only puked (8) sets of LW's. Hint. LAUGHING! Now on to how to set a rifle up,while leaving the Retards on their couches. HINT. Pre-flight Check list is SKOOKUM. RPM,COAL and Throat Geometry are in order. Pass the Alpha 260 virgins, for positive headspace false shouldered Virgins. Google it. Hint. LAUGHING! Pillars/Inletting were/are impressive. Hint. Trigger weren't bad,but 7/8's revolution ala 5/64 'driver, sealed the deal. Pun be intended. Hint. Magbox is 3.030" in it's gross latitude and throat geometry to a square Smooch,do thusly. Hint. Hell...I mighta poked a Reupold 3-9x in LW's aboard. Then again. Hint. LAUGHING! Bless your hearts for trying. Hint. LAUGHING!...............

Now lemme see...there's (5) 8x40 holes in the receiver, what to do,what to do? Hint. Congratulations?!? Laughing! Yard the bitch left behind and get serious. Hint. NOW the ball is rolling. Hint. As per "usually",the foremost fastener will need a thread or two removed,so there isn't any contact with barrel shank. Hint. Now with full access, goop & swoop. Hint. There's MUCH to be said, for a scope that's designed and actually DOES what a scope is supposed to do...which is to simply steer boolits. HINT. Laughing! Flat rings and a 20MoMo extended 1913,will typically grant 25+ Mils of erector remaining, from a 200yd centerfire zero. Then as you gawk through a 6x MQ Fixed Fhuqker, you've got (10) more to use as per whim. Rest assured,Reupold has NO answer to ANY of it. Hint. Bless your hearts for trying. Hint. LAUGHING!...................
