Nice buck! What rifle? That's the way I like to haul them in too. A loader makes it easy on the back. Anson, that rifle is a Remington 700 6.5 Creed that started out as an ADL. I put it in a Remington camo BDL stock, added BDL bottom metal. Scope is one of those Nikon Monarch 3 that Walmart sold last year for $99. The BDC on that scope is perfect for the load I'm shooting. I planned on selling this rifle as soon as I can lay my hands on the Model 700 American Hunter in 6.5, but it's a shooter, and I may just keep it.

Good way to get him out too. When you're as old as I am, you look for the easiest way possible. Besides, that's what a tractor is for. Thats why I said good job! I dont understand the use of a pack frame on your back! 🤦🏼♂️ You know that thin line between stupid & tough ? I straddled it all through my 30-50’s Between guiding & my own hunts too many fing times carrying 100# + on my back often for many miles over rough terrain Prolly taken years off my life 🤷🏻♂️ But oh the memories
