I am going on a fly-inn moose hunt next year and the area looks pretty flat it seems that sat photos might be of more use than a topo (I will bring the topo too). Is there a site or service that prints Canadian sat photos on a durable paper or plastic like they do for topos?

The collection of taxes which are not absolutely required, which do not beyond reasonable doubt contribute to public welfare, is only a species of legalized larceny. Under this Republic the rewards of industry belong to those who earn them. Coolidge

I am not sure of the area you are planning the hunt.

In NW Ontario the ministry of natural resources used to sell area maps that were pretty good, and on tough paper./

Try getting on a web site to learn more. Good luck.

Good morning, Tryed to answer ya last night but my com, puker acts wonkeee. Any way, ya I think the ministry of natural resources still hav the maps. I do know that Epps sporting on Hwy 11 still sells them so they have to be getting them somewhere. Elwood epps sports . Com should get ya something. Try google maps? If ya can get the bearings for the area you just type them in & your home free. I believe even if you have a name of a lake that's in the area ya can just google that, watch out for horse shoe, turtle, and some others. There's about 2000 turtle lakes etc. Knowing the tounship may help some. If I can be of anymore help let me know Bill out. πŸΎπŸ‘£πŸ‘£πŸΎπŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

Oops!, I didn't see that you already had the google maps. Just take them to somewhere that can laminate them, be supper tough. May not fold up to well A. Your google maps are likely more detailed than the topo maps. I don't canoe anymore but when the google maps came out I forgot about tops. Bill out. πŸΎπŸ‘£πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦
