The article says her symptoms have abated and she could be released in the morning. If this was just a minor infection as they paint it they wouldn't have moved her from Sibley hospital to Johns Hopkins. I lost my mother to cancer and wouldn't wish it on anyone. Anyone who has lost loved ones to this disease will recognize Ginsburg's recent history or two cancer treatments in the last year combined with multiple short notice hospital admissions as being standard end of life events. It's not the cancer that kills you, it's failure of organs brought on by the cancer. Toward the end going in and out of the hospital to treat things like this is normal. I doubt she's got too much longer.

She could have retired gracefully when Obama was in and been a hero to the left, but she just couldn't part with the power. Now she's fading physically and mentally, but can't retire because it would mean Trump will name her replacement. The idea of her lying on her death bed in the near future agonizing about who Trump will name as a replacement seems like a just reward for her.

That's true. But Demons never seem to just retire gracefully. Hell, when they are caught with their pants down fu^ckin' the neighbors dog, they still stonewall & won't even resign then. Repubs, on the other hand, can rarely fall on their sword fast enough. MM

What is she in the hospital for this time? Embalming and adding animatronics, so she can resume her seat on the bench forever... This was done over a year ago. She must have had a faulty part put in and they needed to replace it.
