Like the title says, how do they shoot and how do you like the rifle. Thanks.

Haven’t seen one in the wild yet, but they are damn intriguing.
Talked to Glen when they were first announced. They headspace the same as the Havaks, so barrels and prefits are interchangeable.

I sure like the looks of the element but it could use a few more inches of barrel length for the PRC!

Sendero Man posted some pics on the FB 6.5 PRC group. Looks pretty sweet!

Very neat rifle. I agree on wishing for a little more barrel length on the PRC.
I've been shooting a PH2 in 6.5 CM and previously had a PH2 is 6 CM and think they are a really sweet package for a mid-weight off the shelf rig. The Element drops a fair amount of weight if someone wants close to the same blueprint in a true lightweight.

21”s ain’t a bad trade off...esp if you are planning on shooting suppressed.
139 Scenars at 2980 out of an 18” Bart suppressed doesn’t suck!

No doubt, suppressed changes the view on length for sure.

Above reference is what I’m shooting out of the PRC. 147s were a NO GO in both FYI. The PRC has a Bart 2B 5R and was blowing up the 147s about 30-40 yards out of the muzzle. The SAUM was re barreled with a fresh HawkIll last year. When I went to true DOPE up out to 1500 my drops were WAY out of line with any ballistics engine. The ATACR was box tested, velocities were confirmed on LabRadar and MS. Long story short, the jackets weren’t holding up and I was getting a SEVERE degradation in BC. It’s not an isolated lot issue and somehow Hornady “can’t seem to replicate” what guys are seeing in the field. That same lot of bullets has been GTG at 6.5 Creedmoor/6.5x47L velocities.

Very informative. I have been shooting/killing with the 147s out of my Creedmoor but haven’t really stretched them out yet.

Going back and looking at this, my ignorant azz didn't realize part of the weight loss on the Element when compared to the PH2 was in the action....I thought it was all barrel. The aluminum action/bolt (stainless supported) is pretty neat. I'd like to see some more info on it.....
