Honda is the better built, more reliable machine.

If I had to choose between those two, it would be the Honda. I personally like the looks and feel of the 700 vs the 570. I find the Pioneer more comfortable to ride in. Toss a set of Maxxis Bighorns on the Pioneer and run it.

On a 60" 4 seater, the 570 engine isn't going to win any races. I have an 800 Polaris Razor 2 seater. It goes just fine in rough stuff but on a road with friends, a 700 ATV with 2 aboard will leave us sitting. An SXS weighs a lot more than an ATV.

I have the 700-4, good reliable machine. Love the fact that it is shaft drive.
The only downside to it is they call for oil change and valve adjustment every 600 miles. I do it myself, it isnt hard to do, just something to plan on if you are taking it on a long trip. Have the first service done when called for. Everything I have read says if the valves are gonna need adjustment, it is after the first 100 miles. I have checked the valves on 2 services myself and havent found them that bad off that going over would cause much harm.

My guess is that maybe 20% of them in the real world ever get a single valve adjustment. Just did the adjustment on my 1000 with 260 miles on it and it was on the money. My 700 was pretty close on it’s first adjustment too.

It ain't my fault.

I would also go with the Honda. The Pioneer is very reliable.

I have a 2019 700-4 deluxe, so far so good
Usually in November, Honda really knocks the prices down on the last years model.
Don't go crazy with lifts and too big of tires and you shouldn't have any issues. It's the folks modding them like crazy that are breaking axles, etc.

You already bought something so my Yamaha recommendation is out.
If it doesn't have power steering, get one that does.

I ran a 570 Polaris checking gas wells they have a good motor, we replaced the a arm bushings about every three months didn't get 6 months without a wheel bearing. We had 2 of them both junk, had to replace the rear end in both around 3,000 miles, front drive shaft yoke twice a year. We ran Honda 500 Foreman before that and mine had 22,000 miles on it and the other had 18,000 on it. Took them to the dealer twice a year for maintenance, and very seldom for anything else. Go with a Honda anything.

Honda is the better built, more reliable machine. No doubt. I have a 2018 Honda Pioneer 700. Wouldn’t trade it for anything. My Honda Rancher carried my big arse all over The Texas Hill Country for 20 years without issue.

Now with even more aplomb

Tell me what you think.Losing the bed when hauling four on the Honda doesn't matter.I want a 60" I realize this is an old thread and the OP has already purchased, but my 2 cents may help someone else. I currently have a 700 Honda Pioneer, purchased when it was new, first year they were made. 2014 or 2015 I think? It has been bullet proof to date. My uncle has a 570 Ranger about the same age (2 seater) and it has been a piece of junk, requiring constant maintenance and work. Even if you take the maintenance and problems out of the equation, the Honda is twice the bike as the Polaris. The Honda is quieter, faster, more powerful, easier to drive, better ergonomics, and obviously more reliable with a shaft drive. I would easily pay 50% more for the Honda if those were the only 2 choices. Based on my experience, I believe that a 4 seat Polaris with the 570 engine would be very under-powered and would struggle with a load of 4 men and/or a deer or 2.
