Yeah they shot a 11.5 year old doe last year there. They said he was 7.5 to 8.5 but let's be real, 8.5 sounds cooler lol. Regardless, my previous oldest was 6.5 so I'm glad to get another mature one. 6.5 below [img] https://imgur.com/3AkQtPu[/img]

Thanks everybody. Out of all my mounts, I don't have any in the classic upright and straight pose like the McKenzie 9600 form. I dropped him off today and asked the taxidermist to do that pose to recreate the photo of him in the field. We will see in 11 months how it turns out

I was hunting at an intersection of two creeks. All the deer were coming from one creek but to my surprise, he showed up from the other. Always fun when you turn around and see a surprise Yes it is. Makes you feel great.
