My favorite rifle, Kimber Classic 257 Roberts, 117 grain Hornady interlock and 42.5 grains of H4350, just don't see the need for the 6.5 Creedmore where I hunt.

Well done!
Many of us don't see the 'need for the creed', we have calibers that have killed millions of deer and elk before it existed.

Your deer haven't learned of the Creed yet. Once they do you will not be able to kill them.

Nice buck.

What you have there is only a partially dead Deer. It would be much deader if had been shot with a Creedmore.

Nice Deer and fine rifle and caliber..............well, I think it was fine...........no rifle photo's so you maybe pulling our leg. whistle

It might not be more dead, but with the Creed it’d be MOOR dead?

Ha I’m a bob fanatic too! Nice buck and classic chambering in classic rifle good work!

No need for anything more than my old favorite .30-30 where I hunt. Sure don't need one of those newfangled .257's. I bought a 6.5 creed anyway just for the fun of it.

No need for anything other than the long bow for killing deer. They have been doing it longer than any firearm!

The Bob is overkill for deer. Case is way too large and wastes powder. Cartridge is also too new and not proven yet. Need a 250 Savage if your going to use a 25 cal. After such ridiculous statements it shouldn't surprise you that the wife and I each have a 250. The old man used a Bob, very effectively, about the last 15 years he hunted. It was a dream cartridge from his youth.

Nice buck.

Started Tide Jr. off with a 257 Roberts, many moons ago. He killed several with it, but I was never happy with the accuracy of that rifle. I had the trigger tweaked, but did not bed it. Best accuracy after much testing with bullets, powder and primers was about 1.75". The cartridge is entirely capable of being a dandy whitetail cartridge, but the rifles so chambered can be finicky.

Good work! Never tried the 257 but am familiar with that 117 interlock. Looks like it still works.
